If I'm Krall, I think I want to see some of these young guys come to spring training and see who comes in a year more mature and who is treading water. Also there was enough grumbling about trading India in the off-season might be a sell low situation that if he comes to spring training looking great, you can still flip him at that point for the better bat in the outfield.
