As of this date, I have watched 56 films that were released in 2018. Some, I loved. A few, I hated. Most of them were, you know, pretty alright! Anyway, without further ado, here are my top 25 films of 2018, ranked:
Roma
They Shall Not Grow Old
First Man
Free Solo
The Favourite
Crazy Rich Asians
Leave No Trace
Minding the Gap
Isle of Dogs

Just missing the list were a group of movies that I really liked! Honorable mention to Stan & Ollie, Mary Poppins Returns, Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Green Book, and Uncle Drew.
At the other end of the rankings, the worst movie I saw in 2018 was A Simple Favor. Here’s the bottom 5, in order:
A Simple Favor
Aquaman
Annihilation
The Meg
Tomb Raider
Okay, thanks for indulging me. Let me know how wrong I am! In the meantime, I’m hanging out at Letterboxd, you know, if that’s your kind of thing.
